Kleffmann Names MD for North American Business

Agricultural research specialist Kleffmann Group has appointed Monica Phillips as Managing Director of its North American subsidiary KG MarketSense. She takes the reins from founder David Soorholtz, who will now focus on the global animal health market.

Phillips joins with two decades' experience in agricultural marketing and research, gained in agriculture services-based companies such as Beck Ag, Inc, where as VP of Strategic Intelligence she helped clients make use of customer intelligence and data to develop their marketing strategies. Earlier, she spent more than nine years at DuPont Pioneer in marketing and general management roles.

In her new position, Phillips is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the group's operations in the US and Canada, including its AMIS Panels, AdHoc Research and My Data Plant. She also joins the firm's global management team. At the same time Soorholtz becomes Director of Animal Health, North America, and Global Product Manager for Animal Health.
