B2B Data Provider Altares Group Names CEO

In France, B2B data provider the Altares Group has appointed Luc Querton as Chief Executive Officer.

Altares collects, aggregates, analyses, enriches and structures data including behavioural, digital, historical and company information; then feeds it into decision-making tools. Last year, the firm acquired Invoxis, which uses text mining, graph visualization technologies and natural language analytics to collect and analyse structured and unstructured data from multiple sources. Altares is Dun & Bradstreet's exclusive partner in France, through which the firms offer access to a database of more than 300 million companies in 220 countries across five continents.

Querton (pictured) joins from list filtering specialist Fircosoft, where he latterly served as President and CEO, having previously been the firm's COO and MD for Continental Europe. Prior to this, he held senior positions at financial services industry tech provider Fiserv, Business Objects/SAP, Unisys and Lotus. Eric Aveillan of Altares shareholder Naxicap comments: 'Under Luc Querton's leadership, Altares will considerably boost its technological innovations to keep pace with changes in its legacy markets and roll out new offers for new segments and geographies'.
