Quantcast Hires Two with Privacy in Mind

In the US, audience measurement and digital advertising firm Quantcast has appointed Ari Levenfeld as Chief Privacy Officer (CPO), while Guinevere Jobson joins as Senior Corporate Counsel.

Ari Levenfeld and Guinevere JobsonQuantcast applies machine learning technology and modelling to live first-party data drawn from more than 100 million online destinations, to help publishers better understand their audiences. Last year, the firm launched Quantcast Choice, a consent management platform to help publishers comply with the EU's General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Levenfeld joins from digital ad management platform Sizmek, where he served as CPO for two years, having previously worked in the legal team at predictive marketing software company Rocket Fuel (prior to its acquisition by Sizmek) and IAC, owner of brands including Match.com and Vimeo. In his new position, he will be responsible for the company's global privacy strategy, regulatory compliance and risk management.

Jobson joins from law firm Fenwick & West, where she spent more than eleven years litigating and advising across issues such as intellectual property, commercial matters, consumer protection laws and privacy. Previously, she was a visiting attorney in Paris, France, focused on intellectual property with London-based law firm Allen & Overy.

Both will be based at the San Francisco HQ and report to Chief Legal Officer Michael Blum, who comments: 'In order to unlock the huge potential value that exists for brands, publishers and consumers, we need to be able to successfully navigate an increasingly complex regulatory environment.
