Lucid Promotes for Next Phase of Growth

In the US, programmatic sample platform Lucid has promoted former COO Andy Ellis to the newly created role of Chief Revenue Officer and Managing Director, North America. He has been replaced by Rick Rodgers, while Nicole Patel and Ben Hogg have also been promoted to the exec team.

Lucid's platform and services unite buyers and sellers of survey sample in more than 90 countries. The firm is headquartered in New Orleans, with offices in London, New York, Gurgaon and Sydney. Ellis joined in 2012, having previously served as Greenfield Online's MD of Europe and Asia Pacific, and been part of the exec team responsible for building the company and its ultimate sale to Microsoft. He will now focus on how best to serve the needs of the company's customers and hand over his non-revenue operational responsibilities to Rodgers, while continuing to oversee the Business Development, Sales and revenue delivery teams in North America.

Rodgers takes over as COO, having joined the firm in 2015 as VP, Operations and most recently served as SVP, Customer Solutions. In his new role, he will oversee marketplace and platform operations and support, global monetisation, global operations, business automation and IT.

Patel had been promoted to Chief People Officer, after nearly five years as SVP of People. During this time, she has helped grow Lucid's staff by more than 500%, and she will now oversee people, workplaces and administration on a global level as part of the company's plans to recruit more than 200 people in 2019.

London-based Hogg becomes Managing Director, International, having previously served as MD EMEA and APAC. He will now oversee all global expansion, while continuing to be responsible for Business Development, Sales and revenue delivery across the EMEA and APAC.
