APD Shuffles UK Leadership Team

In the UK, automotive and transport customer insight specialist APD Global Research has promoted Kathryn Courtenay-Evans to the position of UK Managing Director, as Rob Whalley steps down as CEO. Additionally, Karl Fisher moves up to the role of Client Services Director.

From its offices in the UK and Australia, APD conducts product, brand and customer research for clients in the global automotive, transport mobility, motorcycle and leasing industries. Courtenay-Evans joined in 2015 and most recently served as Commercial Director, having previously worked at TTi Global Research as Global Director of Research, and Maven Research as MD. In her new role, she will run the UK business on a daily basis, reporting to Executive Chairman Paul Turner, while also expanding the utility and non-automotive client base.

Fisher has been promoted from his previous position as Operations Director, to support existing customers and grow new automotive client opportunities. He began his career as a Marketing Analyst at Dixon Motors, before moving to vehicle auction operation Manheim as Client Information Manager. Following the two promotions, Whalley has moved to the position of Director, while Turner will be combining his role as MD of APD Australia alongside his position as Executive Chairman of APD UK to strengthen links between the UK and Australian management teams.
