PSB Names Financial Services Global Head

In New York, WPP-owned market research and political polling specialist Penn, Schoen and Berland Associates (PSB) has appointed Susan Ochs as Senior Vice President and Global Head, Financial Services.

Founded in 1975 and acquired by WPP in 2001, PSB provides research-based consultancy to help corporate, entertainment and political clients hone their messaging and communications strategies.

Ochs (pictured) joins with more than two decades of experience across the financial sector - as both a practitioner and policymaker. Most recently, she founded and served as CEO of The Better Banking Project, which works with practitioners, regulators and other stakeholders to promote and measure industry best practices. Previously she worked in senior roles in government at the US Department of the Treasury and the US Securities and Exchange Commission, as well as investment roles at JP Morgan Investment Management and private equity firm Solera Capital. Earlier, in her career, she served as Acting Director of Management for WPP's BrandAsset Consulting.

In her new role, Ochs is responsible for the global development of the Financial Services practice. She reports to CEO Mike Chuter, who comments: 'With Susan's combination of private and public finance expertise we'll be able to deliver even more meaningful insights to our current and future partners.
