Ipsos Names Leader for US Auto Quality Practice

Ipsos has appointed long-time J.D. Power exec Jacob George as Executive Vice President and Leader of its US Automotive Quality Practice.

Jacob GeorgeGeorge (pictured) brings more than three decades of experience to the role, most recently from J.D. Power Asia Pacific where he was Vice President and General Manager, responsible for the research and consulting business. During his eighteen years at J.D. Power, he was also VP and GM, Global Consulting Operations, leading staff across the US, Germany and China; Managing Director of China Operations; and VP, Automotive Product Solutions. He began his career at General Motors.

In his new role, George will drive the Quality Measurement and Improvement system that Ipsos has created for the US and global automotive markets. Frank Forkin, President of Ipsos RDA, comments: 'I'm thrilled that Jacob has joined the team.
