Criteo Hires Retail Media Leader

In Paris, France, ad targeting and retargeting specialist Criteo has appointed Geoffroy Martin as Executive Vice President and General Manager of Retail Media.

Geoffroy MartinCriteo combines predictive software and consumer intent / purchasing data to deliver targeted ads in real time, and has bolstered its offer with the acquisitions of performance marketing company BrandLogic and ad tailoring firm DataPop. Launched last November, Criteo Retail Media aims to provide a technology platform that enables retailers' ad monetization programs and help brands deliver ads that generate sales.

Martin (pictured) joins to drive the acceleration of the Retail Media business, after working as a consultant with a focus on growth strategies and innovation. Earlier, he spent eleven years at speciality online retailer Art.com, latterly as President & CEO, overseeing growth in revenue and customer base across 150 countries. He was one of Criteo's first US customers.

In his new role, Martin will report to COO Mollie Spilman, who comments: 'Geoffroy brings a unique mix of experience and I couldn't be more excited to welcome him to the company. His background both running a global eCommerce business as well as consulting other businesses on how to innovate and grow, positions him well to scale our Retail Media division as we drive forward Criteo's multi-solution offering'.
