Maru Group Hires Global Marketing Director

Tech-enabled MR and customer insights group Maru has appointed long-time KPMG exec Natalie Cousens as SVP, Global Marketing Director.

Natalie CousensCousens (pictured) worked most recently for thirteen years at KPMG where she was Director, Marketing & Communications, Global Customer, setting up and managing marcoms strategies for a number of distinct growth areas. This included setting internal communications strategies to educate and engage the firm's own global network. Earlier she worked for six years as Marketing Manager at Deloitte, and before spent a decade at BT.

In her new role, she will oversee Maru's global marketing function including the planning, development and execution of communication strategies. Group CEO Ged Parton comments: 'I am thrilled to have persuaded Natalie to join us. Her extensive background in professional services, analytical ability and proven success in multi-market lead generation will be instrumental in growing the Group's brands'.

The Group was established in 2016 by industry veteran Ged Parton and has since acquired eDigitalResearch; Vision Critical's North American Research Consulting division (since re-named Maru/Matchbox); survey tech platform Usurv, CX tech firm SynGro; and Hispanic panel Tú Cuentas. Maru is backed by UK-based equity firm Primary Capital Partners LLP.
