AcuityAds Expands East Coast Canadian Team

Targeting firm AcuityAds has expanded its east coast Canadian team with the promotion of Sophie Denault to Head of Sales for the region, and the appointment of Geneviève Landry as Account Director.

Sophie Denault and Geneviève LandryThe firm, which is headquartered in Toronto with sales offices in nine other North American cities plus London, helps clients target audiences via mobile, social media, display and video ads. In 2017, it acquired analytics specialist Visible Measures Corporation for around $10m.

Denault joined in 2015 as Director, Strategic Partnerships, Eastern Canada, having previously worked for Rogers Media as Digital Supervisor and National Account Director, and at Yellow Pages as a Media Consultant. Commenting on her promotion Warren Jansons, VP of Sales in Canada, says: 'Since her arrival, Sophie has impressed us by her professionalism and strong capabilities in the digital world. Her knowledge of the industry, passion and dedication make her the absolute ideal candidate to lead our east coast Canadian efforts. Over the years she has demonstrated true leadership and amazing business acumen, resulting in the tremendous growth that we have seen in this region'.

Landry joins with more than ten years of sales and client relations experience, seven of which were spent in the digital media industry. Previously she worked at Groupe DAC and Yellow Pages as Account Manager and Director of Customer Experience. In their new roles, Denault and Landry will be supported by Caroline Saey, Senior Account Manager in Quebec.
