Research Charity MREF Appoints Executive Director

In the US, the Marketing Research Education Foundation (MREF) has hired Andra Davidson as Executive Director, effective immediately.

MREF draws on support and donations from more than 100 organisations in the MR community to educate children and youth worldwide. Since 2015, it has provided more than $125,000 in grants to nonprofits focused on educational access in the United States and Haiti, to improve access to education in its local community. The foundation raises and grants money to organizations around the country, hosts volunteer service days, and organizes fund-raising awareness-building trips to Haiti to visit one of its grant recipients, The Joseph School - a trip described as 'life-changing' by participants.

Davidson is a strategic marketing professional with more than 20 years of experience, most recently as VP Marketing and Events at JEWISHcolorado, which raises approximately $8m a year to support the Jewish community in Colorado and abroad. In her new role she will work closely with the board of directors to increase awareness of the foundation's work, grow its network of supporters, and ultimately offer educational opportunities to more children around the world.
