ICF Names Wasson CEO

In the US, digital services consultancy ICF is appointing John Wasson as its new Chief Executive Officer from October 1, replacing Sudhakar Kesavan, who will assume the position of Executive Chairman.

ICF has more than 7,000 full- and part-time employees including business analysts and policy specialists who work with digital strategists, data scientists and creatives. The firm uses historical data to spot trends that predict future behavior using machine learning, deep learning and other data science techniques; and it analyzes customer and sentiment data to help identify patterns.

Wasson (pictured) has served as ICF's President since 2010 and its Chief Operating Officer since 2003, and he currently manages all client-facing operating groups and the corporate business development function with responsibility for ICF's client delivery and satisfaction, staff recruitment and development, and acquisition integration. He joined ICF in 1987 as an Associate, and has led client work in the areas of energy, environment, public health and disaster recovery.
