Online Community Specialist Influitive Names New CEO

Toronto and San Francisco-based online community and customer advocacy software developer Influitive has appointed Dan McCall as Chief Executive Officer, while founder Mark Organ moves to the role of Executive Chairman of the Board of Directors.

In return customers earn points that can be used for a variety of perks and privileges. McCall (pictured) joins with more than 25 years' tech industry experience. During his career, he has co-founded several companies, including Guardent (acquired by Verisign in 2004) and Virtual Computer (acquired by Citrix in 2012). He has also held senior positions in product management, marketing, product development, and corporate development at four publicly-traded companies.

Commenting on McCall's appointment, Organ said: 'Dan is a proven executive, strategic thinker, and a strong leader. His experience managing marketing and product organizations is a perfect fit for Influitive. This change will elevate Influitive's operational capabilities, and I strongly believe that Dan has the right set of experiences to grow our company and provide new energy, focus, and clarity around our vision.'
