August 20 2019

In the US, consumer data specialist Data Decisions Group (DDG) has promoted Dino Fire to the role of President of Market Research and Data Sciences. He replaces President of Data Science Bruno Delahaye.

Dino FireFormed in 2016 through the merger of FGI Research & Analytics with Web Decisions Group, DDG offers a range of services including consumer data enhancement and appending, predictive analytics, marketing research, custom audiences and omnichannel campaign management. Fire (pictured) joined the group more than 22 years ago and most recently served as President, Research & Analytics, having previously been FGI's Chief Data Science Officer, managing a team of market research analysts and using primary and secondary consumer data to build predictive models. Earlier, he spent nine years at Arbitron (acquired by Nielsen in 2013 and now known as Nielsen Audio), where he was responsible for research suppliers who were contracted to place and collect diaries for TV and radio ratings.

Delahaye, whom Fire replaces, was CEO of self-service predictive marketing technology platform Reach Analytics, acquired by DDG last November. Delahaye has now left DDG, but details of his next move are not yet disclosed.

Commenting on Fire's promotion, CEO Mike Hail said: 'Dino is not only an experienced expert in market research and analytics, but he is a strong business unit leader. I am extremely confident that both our clients and our staff will be pleased with the planned improvement in our data science practice'.
