Former dunnhumby Man Joins Pricing Specialist Engage3

In the US, pricing optimization and analytics specialist Engage3 has hired former dunnhumby exec Jonah Ellin as Vice President of Product, responsible for working with the product development team to build data-science-driven pricing tools.

Jonah EllinEngage3's Price Image Management Suite helps retailers understand and manage their pricing strategies using predictive modeling. The suite includes Competitive Intelligence Management (CIM) - an AI-assisted, attribute-based, and data science-driven solution that provides competitive data in the US and Canada. Also included is Price Image Optimization (PIO) - a pricing solution that defines the impact of strategic pricing alternatives and delivers pricing recommendations.

Ellin (pictured) joins with 23 years of experience in price optimization, product management, technology, consulting and analytics, after a stint as VP of Product Development at tech firm Rubicon Global. Prior to this he spent nearly seven years at dunnhumby, leading product development for price and promotion and category management solutions. Earlier, he worked for Information Resources Inc. (IRI) for a decade, across every area of the business including measurement science requirements, project management, six sigma and product management.
