Further&Further Expands to Europe with London Launch

September 3 2019

US-based Further&Further, which combines qual research methods with immersive documentary film-making, has opened a European office, based in London. Former CrowdDNA director Kelvin Amos joins the office as European Managing Director.

Kelvin AmosThe agency, which was launched in February by Ian Pierpoint, founder of youth research specialist The Sound, also has offices in Montreal and NYC. Its approach to research has been designed to enable the team to 'follow the story', often speaking with subjects over many days and always including people outside the original research sample. The team works a four-day week (but are paid for five days) and the senior team focuses on leading one project at a time.

Amos (pictured) joins from cultural insights and strategy consultancy CrowdDNA, where he served as Director of Strategy & Innovation. Earlier, he worked for branding agency Protein as Head of Agency, and before this he was Business Development Director at digital content marketing agency SevenC3. Before this he worked for Crowd DNA between 2009 and 2015, latterly as Commercial Director. Further&Further plans to add two or three people to the London office in the coming months, with further international expansion plans in 2020.

Pierpoint comments: 'We've been thrilled with the client response to our unique way of doing research and it's clear that we need to have senior people in key regions to meet our clients' global needs. We're not trying to be the biggest qualitative agency in the world; been there and done that. We're going to stay small and stay senior, doing work we love and ensuring our culture remains creative and inspiring'.
