MaritzCX Names Patient Experience Division Leaders

Customer experience management software and solutions firm MaritzCX has appointed Dave Beaulieu as EVP Global Healthcare Division, while Jason Masedonia joins as Vice President, Healthcare & Patient Experience (PX).

The firm was formed in 2014 when Maritz acquired customer and employee feedback software provider Allegiance and combined it with Maritz Research, and offers a combination of customer experience consulting, marketing science and research, along with CX software and programme services. In July, the company launched a tool called the Patient Experience (PX) Platform, which is CMS-certified to offer HCAHPS surveys (Hospital Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems).

During his career, Beaulieu has held general management positions at several large companies including GE Healthcare and Danaher. He has specialized in leading Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems (CAHPS) surveys, patient experience surveys, employee engagement surveys and physician surveys at several healthcare companies serving more than 500 hospitals and 13,000 clinicians nationwide. Masedonia previously served as SVP, Strategy and Development at patient experience specialist Avatar Solutions, where he led the design behind client/partner experience programs and CAHPS compliance.

MaritzCX President and CEO Mike Sinoway says the pair's healthcare and technology background and expertise 'complements the direction and strategic initiatives we have defined for moving the PX division forward'. He adds: 'Their leadership skills will also serve to benefit hospitals as they evolve their PX processes to break free of the inflexible and stagnant PX offerings of yesterday'.
