Eyeota Names Prokop CEO as Tan Steps Down

December 12 2019

Audience technology platform Eyeota has promoted co-founder Kristina Prokop to the position of Chief Executive Officer, as co-founder Kevin Tan steps down from the role.

Kristina ProkopEyeota offers an audience technology platform through which marketers, data owners and research companies can access data to understand customers and enhance their marketing strategies. Last year, the firm, whose broad range of partners includes GfK, Ipsos, Oracle, Kantar, YouGov, Roy Morgan and Dynata, raised $12.5m in a Series B round of funding.

Before co-founding Eyeota in 2010, Prokop (pictured) worked at ad solutions firm Adify, latterly as VP International Account Management & Operations; prior to which she was Country Manager, DE, European Business Development at ad management and delivery platform Mirago; and Online Marketing Manager for eBay Germany. More recently, she served as Eyeota's Chief Customer Officer, building relationships across the company's international client base.

Prokop takes over from Tan, who will remain on the Board, and says he has had a 'fulfilling journey' with Eyeota and is very proud of the company and team. Laurent Samama, Board member and investor at Eyeota, adds: 'The next evolution of data is upon us and as a co-founder, Kristina is the best fit to lead Eyeota through the next phase of the company's lifecycle. She has always maintained a strong understanding of clients' needs, the data landscape, and how to scale an operation globally. We're excited to have her at the helm of Eyeota as the company continues to rise as a major global player in the data ecosystem'.
