Edgeworth Launches DC Analytics Firm

In Washington, DC, economic and quantitative consulting firm Edgeworth Economics has opened a business called Edgeworth Analytics, which will provide clients with training and consulting on data and statistical concepts.

The new business aims to make data analysis accessible and easy to understand across a range of services - including human resources and marketing - as well as in government, media and polling. It offers a teaching program developed to help professionals understand their data, KPIs and dashboards; and a consulting service which delivers insights and targeted recommendations, including help with understanding data analysis.

Bill Ford (pictured), the parent firm's Director of Strategy, will oversee all day-to-day operations of Edgeworth Analytics. Before joining earlier in the year, he was a Product Manager at Cambridge Associates; and he served as Market Intelligence and Reporting Solutions Manager at Microfinance Information Exchange.

Commenting on the launch, founder and CEO John Johnson said: 'Efficient, effective, accurate analysis of data is more critical than ever for running an organization and ensuring its key functions are nimble, responsive, and contributing to the greatest possible return on investment'.
