Comscore veteran Steve Buck is reported to have joined US firm marketCast in the role of SVP Theatrical, charged with driving commercial sales and new business efforts for the firm's theatrical products and services.

MarketCast, which said in October it had plans for aggressive growth, offers entertainment marketing with global ad testing solutions, and its research into fans helps clients understand and target audiences and improve box office strategies. Buck will work with clients including 'every major Hollywood studio and many independent producers', according to news site deadline.com, expanding uptake of the company's research and analytics products and services.
