January 17 2020

Digital advertising industry body IAB UK has hired Elizabeth Lane for the newly created role of Head of Research and Measurement; Dominic Tillson as Head of Industry Relationships and Initiatives; and Antonio Forte as Industry Initiatives Executive.

Elizabeth LaneLane (pictured) joins from the Department for Digital, Culture, Media & Sport (DCMS), where she led research and analysis for media and creative policy. Prior to this she spent more than six years at the BBC, latterly as Research Manager for Radio 4, Radio 4 Extra, and BBC Radio Online; having begun her research career as an RE with Ipsos MORI. In her new role, Lane will oversee the IAB's research strategy, including the launch of major insight projects in 2020.

Tillson, who has worked in digital advertising for more than twenty years, joins from Inskin Media, where he was most recently Director of Marketing and Insight. He will now work with the IAB's Steering Groups to help shape and deliver member-led projects and increase member involvement with IAB initiatives. Forte joins Tillson's team having previously worked at WPP's content division Wavemaker.

Commenting on the appointments, IAB UK CEO Jon Mew said: 'Dom's work in ad tech, not to mention first-hand experience of being an IAB member, makes him uniquely placed to lead our membership initiatives. Meanwhile, Elizabeth's time spent at the DCMS is invaluable when it comes to understanding the political context of our industry and creating research projects that resonate with both policy makers and the media industry'.
