Prescient Advisory Adds to Senior Teams

Biopharma product strategy consultancy Prescient Healthcare Group has hired two new employees for its Advisory business: Kevin Baruzzi as Managing Director of the newly opened Boston office, and Dr Arun Shrivats as Associate Director in San Francisco.

Prescient Advisory works with biopharmaceutical clients to support the development and execution of asset strategy and brand plans. Baruzzi joins with a background in life sciences and biopharma strategy consulting, having spent most of the last decade at life sciences sector boutique consulting firm ClearView Healthcare Partners, where he initially worked as an Analyst and more recently as Associate Principal. His experience covers opportunity assessment, disease area and indication prioritization, clinical development strategy, target product profile design, life cycle management and competitive strategy.

Shrivats was previously an Engagement Manager at management consultancy L.E.K. Consulting; leading teams of associates, analysts and consultants across strategy projects for biopharma, biotech and diagnostics clients. During his time with the firm, he also co-authored an L.E.K. Executive Insight: 'The New Normal for Biopharma as Price Growth Finally Slows'. His background includes portfolio valuation and prioritization, forecasting, competitive positioning, market access strategies, launch planning and commercial scale-up.
