Syno Hires Head of EMEA and Chief Financial Officer

Vilnius, Lithuania-headquartered data company Syno International has appointed former Cint exec Per-Erik Kärnekull as Head of EMEA, while Aivaras Mockus joins as Chief Financial Officer.

Syno offers a cloud data platform, services and products that simplify data collection, processing and reporting, and clients include data-driven organisations such as market research companies, media agencies, publishers, management consultants, ad tech companies and end clients. Stockholm-based Kärnekull joins with fifteen years' experience of the market research / MR technology space. Most recently, he ran his own consultancy PEK, prior to which, he spent nearly a decade at sample management platform Cint, where he latterly served as Sales Director, Growth Markets, having previously been Country Manager for Sweden and Turkey. He began his research career as an RE at TNS, and later served as Sales Manager at Inquision, selling online market research services to organisations in Turkey.

Mockus, who joins in Lithuania, began his career at PwC and then KPMG, before becoming a Financial Analyst at Western Union, and then Head of Financial Analysis and Control at telecoms company Cgates. In his new role, Mockus will take global responsibility for accounting practices and financial reporting.
