Kripapuri Replaces Hernandez as Selligent CEO

In the US, relationship marketing solutions specialist Selligent has promoted Karthik Kripapuri to the role of Chief Executive Officer, succeeding John Hernandez, who will stay on as an advisor to the Board.

The firm's omnichannel marketing and experience cloud platform uses artificial intelligence (AI) to analyse customer data and help with consumer profiling, contextual personalization, campaign management and measurement. Through the platform, clients can deliver personalized and relevant customer experiences to brands in the retail, travel, automotive, publishing, and financial services sectors.

Kripapuri (pictured) joined two years ago as Chief Customer Officer, tasked with building relationships with the senior leadership and with clients. Prior to this, he spent fifteen years at systems integrator Dimension Data, where he latterly served as VP, Solutions & Services, responsible for development and execution of the company's system integration strategy, and overseeing the Consulting & Professional Services and Managed Services portfolios. Previously, he was Consulting Manager at Bearing Point, and Principal Consultant at contact center technology firms Cisco, VistaIT (acquired by Avaya) and GeoTel (acquired by Cisco).

In his new role, Kripapuri replaces Hernandez, who has held the CEO position since late 2017.
