Hootsuite Names New Chief Executive

Social media management software firm Hootsuite has appointed Tom Keiser as Chief Executive Officer, replacing founder Ryan Holmes who will remain Chairman of the company's Board.

Tom KeiserHootsuite's offer includes customer insights at scale, helping organizations to grow their brand and business, and improve customer relationships. Its 'Insights' tool provides instant analysis of millions of online conversations, tracking what customers are doing, feeling and thinking about specific brands. The company has previously acquired analytics firms, including uberVU and LiftMetrix, and earlier this year it partnered with insights firm Brandwatch to offer a new 'listening' solution allowing clients to find and analyse conversations relevant to their brand.

Keiser (pictured) joins with more than 30 years' global tech and business transformation experience. Most recently he was COO of customer service software company Zendesk, helping drive the company's annual revenue from $200k to nearly $1 billion. Before this he held senior roles in both operations and IT at retail, finance and tech companies including The Gap, L Brands, Ernst & Young and Capgemini.
