New London Fieldwork Firm Launches

July 10 2020

Former Central Fieldwork exec Theo Francis has launched a new business, GuineaPig Fieldwork, based in London.

Theo FrancisFrancis (pictured) spent the past year as Client Services Manager at Central Fieldwork, prior to which he was Indiefield's Sales Marketing Manager. During his career, he has been a telephone interviewer, recruiter, supervisor, project manager, sales manager, marketing manager, client services manager and a number of other roles besides.

His new business recruits participants for qual and quant MR studies, and can offer all its UK services anywhere in the world through business partnerships with more than 50 international fieldwork providers. Qual methodologies cover focus groups, online communities and telephone depths, ethnographies, accompanied shops and co-creation sessions; while quant services include exit or in-store interviews, door-to-door surveys, mystery shopping, product and sensor tests, and in-home usage tests. In addition, the firm offers optional extras such as moderation, screener design, questionnaire scripting, and transcription and translation services.

Verticals covered include the consumer, business, healthcare, automotive, tech, and kids and youth sectors, as well as vulnerable audiences and high net worth individuals. Prior to taking on any new projects, the firm says it runs feasibility checks through its network of over 300 recruitment partners and industry experts. According to Francis: 'The goal is to provide our clients with such an exceptional level of service that they view us more like their own in-house field department than as external contractors'.
