The Insights People Adds Seven to Manchester Team

UK-based kids, parents and family specialist The Insights People has hired seven new members of staff, increasing the team to 31. The company is now looking for a new 3,000 sq ft Manchester city centre office to accommodate this expansion.

Headquartered in Manchester, the company includes Kids Insights, offering marketers a range of resources on the consumption and behaviour trends of 4-to-18-year-olds; and Parents Insights, a market intelligence resource for all things 'parenting, mum and baby'. With its recent launch into Latin America via Brazil and Mexico, the company now surveys more than 3,000 children every week, across nine countries on four continents.

The new hires include Robert Lambert as Senior Developer, Richard Wainwright as Data Scientist, and Jordan Shaw as Junior Developer. The firm has also expanded its research team with the appointment of recent graduates Lucy Holland and Sarah Waterhouse; while Connor Walsh joins the marketing team, and George Sarakins joins to head up account management with clients based in North America. These new recruits add to seven new team members announced in April.

CEO Nick Richardson comments: 'It has been quite surreal and challenging to interview, welcome and work with so many new starters remotely. Though it has been great to see the team adjust to these challenges with our usual can-do spirit. It was critical that we continued with our extensive recruitment despite the difficulties which COVID-19 has caused us as all of the roles are key in building the business to the next stage. The recruitment has been across the business, but in particular we have significantly increased our tech and data science team to help us develop and ultimately launch a number of new exciting services'.
