Two Senior Hires for Analytics Firm Bellrock

Glasgow-based analytics company Bellrock Technology has appointed Dave McConachie as Chief Commercial Officer, while Hugh Lennie takes the new role of CFO, just a month after the firm raised £1m in investment funding.

Dave McConachie and Hugh Lennie Founded in 2012 and created within the University of Strathclyde, Bellrock offers a flagship predictive analytics platform Lumen, which helps users combine and deliver models without the need to employ a software development team. Last month, the company appointed advisor Steve Langmead as its Chair, and welcomed £1m of funding from its long-term investors - the University of Strathclyde, Scottish Investment Bank, and ESM Investments.

McConachie joins from data solutions business Eyeacademy, where he latterly served as Chief Commercial Officer. Prior to this he was CEO of IT consultancy Oxido, and he held senior roles at digital solutions company Exception, software business Gael, and digital operations transformation software firm OPX. He replaces Douglas Kinloch, who left last month.

Lennie is a chartered accountant who has worked for clients across the technology, manufacturing, engineering, IT and computer gaming sectors in senior roles at Cyan Forensics and Digital Sports Arena.
