Long-Time Kantar Health Exec Joins Syapse

US firm Syapse, which uses real-world evidence to improve the outcomes of cancer patients, has appointed former Kantar Health exec David Pomerantz as Chief Commercial Officer.

San Francisco-based Syapse offers access to a Learning Health Network, through which it shares real-world data with its partners, to help provide cancer patients with the quality of care they need. Pomerantz (pictured) joins after nearly thirteen years at Kantar Health, where he held commercial operations positions including leadership of the RWE Client Partner sales team for the Americas and Europe. Earlier, he was SVP of evidence-based health management services Evidências, which was acquired by Kantar Health in 2014. Earlier, he held senior positions at I.C. Axon, TargetRx and DSM Pharmaceutical Chemicals.

Commenting on the appointment, CEO Ken Tarkoff said: 'David has a successful track record partnering with pharmaceutical and biotech manufacturers to commercialize treatments and demonstrate their real-world effectiveness.
