MarketCast Hires Ex-Nielsen Sports Leader Lyndon Campbell

MarketCast, which serves clients in the media, entertainment, sports and lifestyle sectors, has hired long-time Nielsen Sports leader Lyndon Campbell as Corporate Senior Vice President and General Manager of MarketCast Sports, Live Events and Brands.

The group comprises four consumer insights businesses: entertainment research specialist MarketCast, research and strategy agency Insight Strategy Group, social media research and analytics firm Fizziology, and sports research and advisory firm Turnkey Intelligence. From measuring fan experiences to defining sports sponsorship strategies, MarketCast provides data-driven solutions that span the entire sports business ecosystem; while its FanTrak solution measures every aspect of the onsite fan experience.

Campbell (pictured) joins after more than thirteen years at Nielsen Sports, North America, where as SVP, Head of Leagues & Rights Holders, he worked closely with sports leagues, teams, and brands, including the NFL, MLB and NBA, to deliver audience measurement services. Earlier, he served as Director of Business Development at AOL.

In his new role, Campbell will be responsible for guiding all client services, commercial activities and growth initiatives for MarketCast's sports, lifestyle brand, and live events clients, including Turnkey Intelligence, which was rebranded earlier this year.
