Adelphi Research Names UK MD

In the UK, Omnicom Health subsidiary Adelphi Research has promoted Elizabeth Kehler to the role of Managing Director. She replaces Rachel Medcalf who has left after twenty years with the company.

Elizabeth KehlerAdelphi has offices in the US and UK, and conducts custom qual and quant research for pharmaceutical and biotech companies, with a focus on high-level strategic projects in complex therapeutic areas.

Kehler (pictured), who is based in the Bollington, Cheshire office, joined a decade ago as part of the senior management team. She previously founded her own branding and communications consultancy, True Horizons, before which she spent nearly five years as Client Development Director at Harris Interactive Europe. Earlier she held senior positions at NFO International / TNS, and spent eight years at Wirthlin Worldwide, having begun her career at EDK Associates and then Ketchum Public Relations.

Medcalf, from whom she takes over, had served as MD since 2000, and is now working freelance in management training. Earlier in her career, Medcalf spent eight years at Roche Pharmaceuticals, latterly as Head of Market Research and Business Intelligence, and she worked for Schering Health Care as Training Manager.
