Alida Hires Chief Revenue Officer

Toronto, Canada-based customer experience management (CXM) and insights platform Alida (previously known as Vision Critical) has hired enterprise tech industry exec David O'Malley for the newly created role of Chief Revenue Officer.

David O'MalleyRenamed in September, Alida recently received US$20m in debt investment to fund a refocus on customer experience (CX), in a bid to 'take on' companies such as Qualtrics and Medallia. In the Spring, it added a patient experience (PX) package to its flagship Sparq digital insights platform.

O'Malley (pictured) joins with a 30-year background of supporting growth for global SaaS companies. He previously served as Chief Revenue Officer for Octo Telematics; President of Financial Services Market Unit at SAP; SVP at TransUnion; and Head of Sales for the Americas at Oracle.

In his new role, O'Malley will lead Alida's sales teams in the Americas and EMEA, and manage relationships with global partners, both across the enterprise and commercial SME segments. He will also focus on revenue generation and customer acquisition.
