Alida Hires Tech Execs to Lead Product Innovation

Canadian customer experience management (CEM) and insights platform Alida (formerly Vision Critical) has hired Scott Barkley as SVP Product Management; Paul Hagen as Principal Director, CXM; and Manuel Zahariev as Vice President of Engineering (AI & Analytics).

Alida recently integrated its CXM and insight platforms to provide brands with an end-to-end solution for uncovering insights and engaging with customers globally. Barkley (pictured) joins in Silicon Valley, California with more than twenty years of software expertise, most recently gained as VP, Head of Product for Cisco's IoT business unit; before which he spent eleven years at Jasper Technologies, responsible for product management. In his new role, Barkley will lead the Product Management team, and be responsible for roadmap execution across the product portfolio.

Hagen has two decades of CX experience, having held Principal roles at West Monroe Partners and Forrester Research, and served as President at Kairos Strategies. He will now lead CXM product strategy and CX design thinking, while advising Alida customers globally, and delivering CX best practices, insights and trends. Zahariev has fifteen years of executive experience, including serving as CTO at Vision Critical from 2005 to 2010. Before re-joining, Zahariev worked at Skwez Technology, leading client discovery of patterns in large genetic databases. He will now lead Alida's AI & Analytics team to build analytical technology embedded across the firm's CXM portfolio.
