InSites Hires Executive Director for Hong Kong

Online community provider InSites Consulting has appointed former Nielsen / Synovate exec Eddie Au as Executive Director in its Hong Kong office.

InSites' offering includes the Square proprietary insight community platform, and a global community moderator network of more than 150 people. At the end of 2019, the firm acquired Asia-based insight community specialist ABN Impact (now known as InSites Consulting Asia), which has offices in Singapore, Hong Kong, Shanghai, Bangkok, Jakarta, Seoul and the Philippines.

Au (pictured) joins in Hong Kong with twenty years' experience in the sector. Most recently, he worked for Nielsen as Senior Director, Consumer Insights, leading the financial vertical in North Asia, specifically for Hong Kong and Taiwan. Before this, he served as Research Director at boutique research agency ShairViews, after a decade at Synovate Hong Kong. His background includes customer experience, innovation, and brand equity research, and methods including online communities.
