Incite Names Kneale Global MD to Oversee UK and US Ops

February 3 2021

Consumer insights specialist Incite has promoted UK MD Peter Kneale to the role of Global Managing Director, overseeing both UK and US operations. The firm says that this move will facilitate more international collaboration across projects and client accounts.

Peter KnealeFounded in 2000, the London-based firm, which is owned by digital marketing services group Kin + Carta, also has offices in New York, Chicago, and San Francisco. Kneale joined as MD in 2010, after five years at TNS RI, where he latterly served as Joint MD, leading the consumer division. Earlier, he was Head of Segmentation and Positioning for TNS Europe, and he worked for NFO World Group.

Incite says that Kneale's promotion forms part of a shift to align the business's offer to three practices - providing research, planning and strategy to insight buyers, brand and marketing professionals, and C-suite and investor audiences respectively. In his expanded role, Kneale will work alongside US MD Kevin Waters. Outgoing CEO Matthew Froggatt will complete his move to the role of Chief Strategy Officer for parent company Kin + Carta, while retaining oversight of Incite, and guidance of the group's wider strategic planning.

According to Kneale: 'The new work-from-anywhere reality of agency life over the past year has shown us that being in the same place is an over-rated consideration when responding to briefs and delivering work. We can deliver the biggest impact for our clients when we pick the right team from across our offices to do the best work. A big part of my new role is making that happen.'
