Senior Hire for Firefish USA

Strategic insights firm Firefish USA has appointed long-time Kantar exec Sylvain Molinier as 'Senior Director of Futures', based in its Brooklyn, NY team.

The firm launched as a qual agency in London in 2000, then added quant division TheNumbersLab a decade later. It also owns a kids and family specialist, The Pineapple Lounge, and an in-house insight films specialist, Firefilms.

Molinier (pictured) joins with a background that includes applying cultural insight, foresight, trends and semiotics to business challenges, and has in-depth knowledge of the gaming, financial services, luxury, and beauty and personal care categories. For the past four years, he was a Director at ad and brand researcher Hall & Partners, working as a strategic adviser for key clients. Prior to this he was VP of Consulting at growth and business strategy consulting firm Kantar Futures, and Senior Strategic Consultant at The Futures Company, having begun his career at brand development and insight consultancy Kantar Added Value.
