Appinio Hires for New DACH Role

Hamburg, Germany-based market research platform Appinio has hired former YouGov exec Jens Brümmer-Jerkovic for the newly created role of Head of Account Management for the DACH region (Germany, Austria, and Switzerland).

In November, Appinio re-launched its consumer panel app, which offers in-built gamification elements and enables users to answer short, multiple-choice questions, compare their opinions with those of others, and also ask questions of the community.

Brümmer-Jerkovic (pictured) joins after more than six years at YouGov, latterly as Head of New Business Sales for Germany, having earlier been the company's Team Manager, Sales Management. Prior to this he worked for online market research portal marktforschung.de, as Account Manager for the DACH region. He began his sales career at hotel chain Leonardo Hotels.

In his new position, Brümmer-Jerkovic is tasked with developing existing client accounts in the DACH region, while also strengthening the firm's brand tracking offer.
