Further&Further Expands North American Team

Immersive research firm Further&Further has added four new members of staff to its North American team, including former Synovate CFO Richard McQuarrie as Finance Director; and says it plans to double in size.

Established in 2019 by Ian Pierpoint, founder of qual research and strategy agency The Sound, Further&Further uses an immersive approach which involves spending up to a fortnight with subjects, following their story, and building their trust to deliver what the firm describes as 'authentic experiences and conversations'. McQuarrie (pictured) brings 23 years of experience from Synovate and predecessor company MarkTrend Research, latterly as Synovate's CFO, and earlier was President & COO at NRG Research Group.

Adam Talkington and Nadia Gopaul both join as Cultural Researchers, tasked with 'finding out what makes people tick'. Talkington previously worked as a Qualitative Researcher at Indicia Consulting and a Project Assistant at NPC Research, while Gopaul was a Research Surveyor at ZOOP Mobility Network. In addition, Bill Farrant joins as Project Manager, having earlier served as Manager, IT Solutions at Kwusen Research & Media, where he oversaw the implementation of the Community KnowledgeKeeper software platform and the GeoKeeper community-based monitoring app.
