Seven Names Head of Commercial Data, Partners with Adobe

May 5 2021

In Australia, media business the Seven Network has appointed former Nine Network / Axciom exec Dean La Rosa as Head of Commercial Data. The firm has also partnered with Adobe for its 7REDiQ audience intelligence platform.

Dean La RosaSeven produces content across broadcast television, publishing and digital. Its 7REDiQ platform provides a solution to help brands understand and reach their audiences, enabling them to combine their own data with Seven's first-party and partner data, activate it across Seven platforms, and then measure their results. The platform also overlays audience data with lifestyle trends, sentiment, location and purchase insights from data partners, to enable a better understanding of who is engaging with Seven's content. Seven says that the Adobe announcement is central to its 7BYOD (Bring Your Own Data) product suite, which now connects more than six million individuals with an Adobe ID.

La Rosa (pictured) will join on 10 May after five years at Nine Network, where he latterly served as Commercial Product Manager - Data Products, and having previously worked for enterprise data, analytics and software provider Acxiom. In his new position, La Rosa will be responsible for identifying and delivering commercial data solutions for customers and partners.

Seven West Media Network Digital Sales Director Nicole Bence comments: 'Dean's talent and experience will help us build our first-party deterministic data approach to prepare for the decline of third-party cookies. As we continue to add new data partners and innovative technology solutions to 7REDiQ, Dean's experience and skills will help us fast track commercial data led solutions for our clients.'
