Perceptive Hires Ian Mills for New Strategy Role

Australasian technology-based customer insights agency Perceptive has hired long-time Ipsos exec Ian Mills in a new role, Director of Strategy. He is based in Auckland, New Zealand.

Ian MillsPerceptive provides research, insights and data-driven marketing programmes to organisations across the Asia-Pacific, North America, the UK and other global markets. Mills (pictured) joins with more than 25 years' market insight experience, including nearly a decade as MD of Ipsos, and more recently as Executive Director at Nielsen, where he led the Customer Insights division. His previous leadership positions included roles at Data Insight NZ, Vantage Point, and Research First, and he was a course presenter on brand strategy at IceHouse for its Owner/Manager and Leadership Development programmes. In addition, Mills is a Fellow of the Research Association of New Zealand (RANZ) and was recently reappointed to the association's Board.

In his new role, he will be helping build new capabilities and expand and evolve the firm's existing customer insights offering.
