Merkle Promotes for New Adobe Experience Lead Role

In London, data-driven marketing agency Merkle has promoted Stephen Derbyshire for a newly created role, Adobe Experience Platform Practice Lead for EMEA, also heading up parent company dentsu's CXM Service Line.

Stephen DerbyshireThe Adobe Experience Platform is used for customer experience management, combining data spanning the entire customer journey - including CRM, commerce, product usage and digital platform data - into real-time customer profiles.

Derbyshire (pictured) joined dentsu-owned Merkle in 2018, and most recently led the firm's EMEA Marketing Technologies group, responsible for running customer marketing platforms. Earlier, he worked for professional services and IT company CACI as Director, Customer Engagement & Campaigning, and was an Account Director at the Illustrated London News, Product Manager at Smart Global, and Proposition Development Assistant at Orange.

In this new position, he will launch and lead a new regional Adobe practice, which will combine Merkle capabilities across Adobe Experience Cloud applications, collecting and harnessing first party data to activate personal experiences.
