D3 Hires Eight for Biggest Ever Headcount

US-based D3, known for its research in conflict regions and other challenging environments, has announced eight new hires, in line with 'the new research opportunities that have emerged this year'.

D3 Hires Eight for Biggest Ever HeadcountThe firm works in challenging areas including Africa and the Middle East, and has enjoyed previous hiring sprees reported in DRNO, but now says it has a record number of staff. The eight new arrivals include two Research Analysts, Brittany Kyser, Research Analyst, who previously helped conduct public opinion polling through her work at the University of Maryland; and Brina Malachowski, who joins as a Research Analyst after four years with Greenberg Quinlan Rosner in DC, conducting qual and quant research around elections in Europe, the Middle East and Africa.

Also among the new recruits are four Assistant Research Analysts: Ricki Wood, who graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University in English with Creative Writing and Psychology minors, and has worked at the Pew Research Center as a content analyst; Libby Seremet graduated from American University with majors in International Relations (BA) and International Economics (BA), and who previously worked with the Department of State's Bureau of African Affairs in the Economic and Regional Affairs Office; Jake Hollis, a B.A. graduate of Elon University in Political Science and Policy Studies, who has worked for the National Democratic Institute, focusing on democratic development in Central and Eastern Europe; and Shelbie Emmel, B.A. in Political Science from the University of California, Davis, and a master's degree from the Pennsylvania State University's School of International Affairs.

In addition, Jeffrey Yan joins s a Data Scientist with quantitative data analysis experience including traditional and computational statistical analysis methods such as regression, ANOVA, designs of experiments, neural networks and data mining. Kriscel Berrum joins as an Assistant Survey Statistician and is a graduate of James Madison University with a B.S in Statistics.
