Insights Association Hires Two Directors

In the US, professional body the Insights Association has appointed Lisa Beck as Director, Account Development and Andrew McKinney as Director, Marketing & Strategic Accounts.

The Washington-based association, created from the merger of MRA and CASRO in January 2017, aims to 'Protect, Connect, Inform & Promote' members and the insights community. Its work includes setting and enforcing quality standards, legal and business advocacy, education, certification and direct support.

Beck brings more than twenty years of experience developing and implementing marketing and member campaigns, promotions and events in a variety of industries, including client and supply side companies. Most recently she was Director of New Business for Meeting Professionals International (MPI), selling sponsorships, lead generation/advertising programs, and corporate memberships to hotels, resorts and Convention & Visitor Bureaus (CVBs).

McKinney began his career as a sales manager at Dynata, then moved to Lucid and sold API integrations before joining SurveyMonkey (now Momentive) where he was a Senior Account Executive. In his new role he will help manage IA member relationships, and its creative and content marketing. He is a graduate of Southern Methodist University.

IA CEO Melanie Courtright says of the appointments: 'Lisa's extensive association experience and Andrew's in-depth knowledge of the insights industry make them an ideal tandem. They complement a devoted, well-seasoned staff and will help bring many exciting initiatives to fruition in the coming months'.
