New Agency ASK-Opinions Opens in the Netherlands

July 8 2021

Netherlands-based group Effective Media & Marketing (EMM) has launched an FMCG-focused agency called ASK-Opinions, which will combine online panel research with shopper and purchase data from more than 1.5 million brand and category buyers.

Arjen van DuijvenbodeWith the launch, EMM now comprises six companies: Hiiper for shopper data and insights, Chatback providing chatbot tools, Scoupy for cashback and shopper marketing, Effective Promotions for trade shows and events, and WePackIT for distribution and fulfilment services. The new ASK-Opinions agency has already set up a panel comprising more than 100,000 consumers, and will use Chatback's chatbot / mobile app technology to survey them. The firm says using the chatbot gives them a higher response rate and shorter response time, while making it more fun for consumers to engage with a survey.

The team will be led by Arjen van Duijvenbode (pictured), Managing Partner, who recently joined from DPG Media where he served as Sales Director, Data & Insights. Prior to this he held senior roles at DVJ Insights, Talk Online Panel, dataSpring, Moody's Analytics, Cint, Kantar and Dynata.

Valentijn Bras, CEO of EMM, comments: 'By adding this new label to EMM, and combining it with Scoupy, the biggest cashback and activation platform in the Netherlands, we can really add something unique to the market. We can match unique shopper and purchase data with survey data. Scoupy's huge data-lake and userbase is linked to innovative tools and technology within Hiiper and the rest of EMM'.
