LG Ads Names New CEO, Brings in Matta as President

TV data and measurement company LG Ads has named co-founder and Chief Product Officer Raghu Kodige as Chief Executive, replacing co-founder Ashish Chordia, who will move into the role of Executive Chairman. The firm has also named former Comscore CEO Serge Matta as President.

Raghu KodigePreviously known as Alphonso, LG Ads brings together parent company LG Electronic's worldwide smart TV footprint of more than 200 million TVs, with TV ad technology and analytics from LG Ads's technology stack for cross-screen media and measurement. Raghu (pictured) takes over the helm, having co-founded the firm in 2013 after a career in senior positions at Microsoft, VideoSurf, and Yahoo!

In addition, Matta joins the firm as President after serving as Comscore CEO, President of video audience and content intelligence provider ICX Media, and President of Global Sales and Marketing at location intelligence firm Groundtruth. Following Kodige's promotion, Ashish Baldua, who has served as the company's Chief Growth Officer since 2017, will assume the role of Chief Product Officer.
