Paquette Joins SmithGeiger Group to Launch New Unit

US insights and content strategy firm The SmithGeiger Group has appointed Aaron Paquette to head and launch its new AccelerateSG brand, content and creative insights division, designed to address emerging trends in media and television broadcasting.

Aaron PaquetteFounded in 2001 by Dave Smith and Seth Geiger, SmithGeiger conducts more than 500 projects each year on behalf of its clients. Its new dedicated AccelerateSG division offers both qual and quant solutions for content, creative, talent, title, concept, package and offer testing; to monitor awareness, usage, affinity, customer satisfaction and net promoter score; development and refinement of marketing positioning; and development and validation of environmental, social and governance messaging.

Paquette (pictured) joins from entertainment research firm Screen Engine/ASI, where he served as EVP of the firm's $15m Television Group, leading a team of fourteen senior research execs. Prior to this, he was EVP of the Media and Entertainment division of Maru/Matchbox (formerly Vision Critical); Nielsen Entertainment's SVP, Client Services; SVP, Media & Entertainment Insights at OTX (Online Testing Exchange); and he held research positions at Sony Pictures Entertainment and CBS.
