Wigley to Lead New Merkle UK Analytics Practice

Merkle, the CXM business of marcoms giant dentsu, has appointed Dan Wigley to lead its combined UK analytics practice.

Dan WigleyIn addition Olly Walker, Head of Commercial and Strategy, will add a new role helping to drive the company's global partnership strategy for analytics including its Go-to-Market plans with Google - working with Merkle's global analytics lead Tracie Kambie and EMEA alliances lead Nick McCarthy.

Merkle now has above 12,000 employees, more than a quarter of the total of dentsu international, which also includes the likes of Isobar, iProspect and Carat. Merkle is headquartered in Columbia, MD, with more than fifty additional offices throughout the Americas, EMEA and APAC.

Wigley will lead a practice created in 2019 from the combination of the firm's digital and customer analytics businesses, and offering services from data science and engineering to analytics tech and data strategy consulting. He joined dentsu over eight years ago after working at NBrown, PureGym, Barratt Homes and Next, and as MD of Data & Technology has scaled the business unit from nil to an annual income of £8.2m.
