Unlimited Promotes for COO Role

August 11 2021

UK-based integrated agency group Unlimited has promoted its CFO Ed Guest to the role of Chief Operating Officer.

Ed GuestHis remit includes partnering with HR and the group's four divisions - Marketing, Digital, Insights & Analytics and Communications - to drive a new 'principle-based hybrid way of working'; supporting the Executive Leadership Team in promoting the group's productivity agenda and business model - including its Human Understanding Lab; and advancing the thriving health offering, including the integration of medical communications consultancy Strategen, acquired in May this year.

Guest has more than two decades of international experience as a CFO, working for both corporate and private equity-backed businesses, in sectors including marketing services, property services, oil and gas, mining, and marine and shipping consultancy.

He reports to CEO Tim Hassett, who comments: 'In his relatively short time with UNLIMITED, Ed had made an enormous, positive impact in his role as CFO. Along the way, he has exhibited strong leadership skills and sound commercial acumen. On top of his core CFO role, which he'll maintain, he'll take primary responsibility for executing and implementing our new operating model and he'll also have commercial responsibility for accelerating our Health agenda. We have great momentum in our business and even more ambitious targets'.

The firm yesterday announced the promotion of Chris Bland to MD of Walnut, taking over from Jane Rudling, who continues in her role as Head of Unlimited's Insights & Analytics division. Web site: www.walnutunlimited.com .
