Canada-based online sample and research technology specialist WiseWorks has been renamed Torfac, and has announced plans for 'extensive hiring and expansion' of its Technology and Development team, including more than 30 new positions.

WiseWorks Becomes Torfac, Plans Recruitment DriveFounded in 2012, the firm now known as Torfac (from the word 'factor') has proprietary specialty panels in more than 25 countries, focusing on B2B sample and harder to reach consumer segments like 'moms with babies', ethnic groups and specific ailments. As well as its headquarters in Toronto, the company has offices in New York, Singapore and New Delhi.

In a statement, the firm said: 'The shift from WiseWorks to Torfac is a strategic step to bring about an absolute and uniform image, identifiable by all the partners and stakeholders.
