M.E.L Hires DJS Man Elliott Simmonds for New Role

In the UK, social research and behaviour change specialist M.E.L Research has hired long-time DJS executive Elliot Simmonds for the newly created role of Client Solutions Director.

Elliott SimmondsM.E.L measures citizen views and opinions, and evaluates them to understand how well a client, project or service is performing. The firm offers a full range of research methods, quant and qual, and donates 5% of its net profits to charity. A sister company, M.E.L Waste Insights, focuses on analysis and advice around municipal waste and resources.

Simmonds (pictured) joins after more than fourteen years at North of England-based full-service agency DJS Research, latterly as Research Director working with clients in the education and cultural sectors. He joined the firm in 2007 as a marketing exec, and later was an AD, with a focus on clients in the education, culture and heritage, software and technology sectors. During his time with DJS, he also helped develop and deliver a number of proprietary tools, including VoicED, the firm's proprietary teacher offer; and Alumnus, its alumni experience benchmarking and affinity tracking tool.

In his new position, Simmonds will work with public, private and third sector organisations, using qual and quant methodologies and advanced statistics.
